Inspired by Siena's legendary 'Palio' races, re-imagined with the Lumoths' imagination. In this collection, historical traces, the passion, colors, and splendor of Italy's famous horse races are brought back to life in a completely different universe, in an imaginary city, in each animal figure.
In 2015, I had the opportunity to visit Siena on a special journey, and that day I was deeply impressed by this captivating city. The fact that each district & even families in Siena were represented by their own animal figure became the strongest starting point for this collection. These symbols were not just coats of arms; they were living signs representing belonging, solidarity, and a common identity.
These special, genuine hand-drawn designs, brought to life on pure silk, are not merely aesthetic wearable art pieces; they are designed like symbolic flags for self-expression. Each piece represents a stance, an emotion, and a characteristic sense of belonging. "Because sometimes words fall silent, and symbols tell us who we are."
